The Hygge House in Matlock was a delightful surprise. The house itself was beautifully decorated and had a warm and inviting atmosphere. I was impressed with the attention to detail and the level of comfort provided. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was a luxurious space to unwind in. The bottle of wine left for us upon arrival was a lovely touch and added to the overall experience. Despite the slight inconvenience of limited parking, we were able to find a spot nearby. I highly recommend the Hygge House for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

The house was absolutely stunning, with impeccable presentation and cleanliness. We were greeted with a thoughtful bottle of wine and even had milk provided for our morning tea. the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the spacious bath was a perfect way to relax after a day of walking. the automatic lights in the bathroom were a nice touch for energy-saving, and the large windows filled the house with natural light. the kitchen was fully equipped for our needs, making our stay even more convenient.
The house is located on a hill, which can be quite challenging to climb if you don't have a car. It took us around 10-15 minutes to reach the center of town, depending on our fitness level.

Free WiFi was a lifesaver, helped me avoid talking to my family. The private entrance made me feel like a spy sneaking into my own house. The towels were so fluffy, I contemplated stealing them for myself.
Oh, did I mention the struggle to open the bathroom lock? It definitely added some excitement to my morning routine.

We really felt like we got great value for our money at this lovely, tastefully decorated house. The room was comfortable and welcoming, and we especially appreciated the bottle of wine and the milk provided for our morning tea. The location was convenient, with easy access to town, and the staff treated us well throughout our stay.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was having more variety in the food options.
